I wanted a change from pancakes, oatmeal or toast for breakfast, and my daughter had been completely in love with peaches for several days... That's how this recipe came to me, and everyone loved it both in the morning and in the afternoon as a snack!

Ingredients :

  • Half of a 600g bag of frozen peaches
  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp natural vanilla essence

Preparation :

  1. Slightly thaw the peaches and process them in a food processor until they are small pieces, but not pureed.
  2. Place them in a medium-sized square ovenproof dish and set aside.
  3. Mix the milk, eggs and vanilla then pour everything over the peaches.
  4. Add the oat flakes to the mixture, making sure to distribute everything evenly.
  5. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

*Tip: The texture will remain quite tender. To make it less runny, refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

This recipe can be stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer.

DME Specifications:

This recipe is suitable for ages 6 months and up , but the softer texture may be more difficult for beginners to manage. You can therefore serve it on pre-filled spoons until grasping skills become more precise.
*Beware of dairy and egg allergens which must be introduced beforehand.

ALTERNATIVE:

To turn this recipe into a treat you can enjoy without baby, you can add 1/2 cup of brown sugar to the peach chunk mixture!

👉🏼 Did you know that you can replace eggs with “chia eggs”?
For each egg to be replaced, mix 1 teaspoon of ground chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of room temperature water (water that is too cold slows down the mucilage).
Stir well, and let stand for at least 15 minutes.
You can then use your “chia egg” to replace your egg in a recipe!
