Using a washing machine is strongly discouraged in order to preserve the properties of the materials.
- Waterproof your shoes with a product suitable for the material. Repeat every 3 to 6 months.
- Maintain the nubuck/suede leather of your shoes by brushing and dry cleaning them. Finish by applying a suitable moisturizing and renovating product.
- Allow to air dry, away from heat sources (sun, radiators, etc.), to avoid discoloration.
Suede is the reverse side of leather, sanded to give it a soft and smooth feel. It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and favors responsible water use during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain.
