Monchhichi is a Japanese line of monkey-like plush toys, created by Yoshiharu Washino for the Sekiguchi Corporation in Tokyo, and officially launched on January 25, 1974. Designed to promote "beauty and love," they are known for their soft bodies, plastic heads, and thumb-sucking feature.
