ALPACA WASHING AND CARE
- Hand wash
- Alpaca knits should be hand washed only in cold water with a mild detergent or shampoo.
- Never use chlorine bleach. Woolite is not recommended.
- Carefully remove any excess water, avoiding wringing or twisting.
- Lay the product flat, reshape it to its original dimensions and let it dry naturally. Storing and preserving your product
- Before storing, make sure the item is completely dry.
- There are several techniques to prevent damage from moths. It is best to store the product in a sealed cedar chest, a freezer (in a zip-lock bag), or any other moth-proof environment.
- Bags containing dried lavender are also helpful.
- We do not recommend the use of mothballs.
