My daughter was tired of her morning toast, so I tried something new. I took inspiration from an oatmeal recipe I made for my son when it was his turn to start baby-weaning, and the result, with the coconut milk and strawberry topping, is a real success!

Ingredients :

  • 3 cups of oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 cup strawberry pieces

Preparation :

  1. In a loaf pan lined with parchment paper, place the oat flakes so that they are evenly distributed in the pan.
  2. Pour the coconut milk over the top, making sure to moisten the oat flakes well.
  3. Add the strawberry pieces on top.
  4. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.

This recipe can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days and in the freezer for up to 3 months. You can top the bread with any fruit you like.

DME Specifications:

This recipe can be offered from 6 months by offering baby slices cut lengthwise which will stick out of his fist after he grabs them.

ALTERNATIVES 👇🏼

To turn this recipe into a treat to enjoy without baby, you can add 3 tbsp of cocoa and serve with a maple syrup drizzle!
