We oil our natural wood products with a blend of different natural oils. The stronger odor is typical of natural linseed oil, which is completely harmless and will diminish over time. For maintenance, simply use soapy water and a damp cloth for cleaning. Dry immediately. Please do not immerse in water and do not use disinfectants or hot water.
