I've always loved the combination of oregano and parmesan, and I wanted to incorporate it into a simple recipe that's quick to make and provides a tasty meal for baby!
Ingredients :
- Half of a 450g block of extra firm natural tofu
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp finely grated Parmigiano cheese
Preparation :
- Cut the tofu into sticks.
- Mix the cornstarch, oregano and grated Parmesan cheese and coat the tofu sticks in it.
- Heat a generous drizzle of olive oil and "fry" the sticks over very low heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the cheese from sticking to the pan.
*As this recipe was designed for a baby, we want to avoid overcooking the tofu to keep it tender. If you are not planning on serving this to a baby, you
You can "fry" it longer to make it crispier.
This recipe can be stored for up to 7 days in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer.
DME Specifications:
This recipe is suitable for children from 6 months old.
*Be careful with the soy allergen which must be introduced according to the recommendations
introduction of priority allergens (this recipe can be a good way to offer it to baby!).
