APPLE AND CINNAMON DONUTS 🍎

The combination of apple and cinnamon is a classic that can't be ignored. In this donut-shaped, sugar-free recipe, it's perfect for babies just starting out on baby blues and will also please those with a sweet tooth!
Ingredients :
- 1 apple
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup pastry flour
- 1/3 cup baby cereal
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp natural vanilla essence
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation :
- Peel, core and grate (or grind in a food processor) the apple.
- Mix the applesauce with the egg and vanilla, then add the grated or crushed apple pieces.
- Add the flour and cinnamon and mix until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a donut mold (well greased or silicone)
- Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
This recipe can be stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the
freezer.

To turn this recipe into a baby-free treat, you can add 1 cup of brown sugar to the mix and serve with cream cheese frosting!
Did you know you can replace eggs with “chia eggs”?
For each egg to be replaced, mix 1 teaspoon of ground chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of room temperature water (water that is too cold slows down the mucilage).
Stir well, and let stand for at least 15 minutes.
You can then use your “chia egg” to replace your egg in a recipe!
